FG TASKS EMPLOYERS ON DECENT WORK CONDITIONS
The Federal Government has charged employers of labour to provide decent conditions for their employees, devoid of exploitation and other negative conditions.
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, made the call in Abuja when he received in audience the executives of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) led by Comrade Osakpamwan Eriyo.

Akwa Ibom Govt. plans to create 10, 000 jobs
The Akwa Ibom Government plans to create 10,000 jobs under the state’s Enterprise and Employment Scheme. Mr Ufot Ebong, Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Matters and Due Process stated this on Tuesday in Uyo while briefing journalists. He said that the scheme was designed to reduce youth’s unemployment in the state by 50 per cent in five years. Ebong said the jobs initiated under the Akwa Ibom Enterprise and Employment Scheme would be completed within the first quarter of 2016.
